Our PC Kicked the Bucket!
It's been a long time coming. I knew our home computer was on its last leg months ago. I kept telling my husband something was wrong with it. He kept brushing it off, saying it was fine. Yesterday, it officially died! I was in the middle of making an online purchase from Old Navy, when the screen went blank - like the power went out. At first, I thought my husband tripped a breaker while working downstairs in the basement. But after trying to restart the computer several times, I realized quickly he had nothing to do with it! I kept getting the dreaded black screen with white writing, asking if I wanted to restart Windows normally, or in Safe Mode. I tried every option given, all with the same conclusion - a black screen. My computer is fried like a french fry. Luckily, I had good sense to see this coming. I backed up important files and all photos saved on my hard drive about a month ago. Here is the
one problem I did not foresee...I lost all of my email addresses. Didn't think of
that one, now
did I? Notice the above picture, illustrating my frustration in this situation.
Not because my computer died (I was ready to replace it months ago! My husband accused me of praying for its death.). But because I've lost my email addresses! So if you would be kind enough to drop me an email with the much needed info, I would appreciate it! I can still access my email account from my laptop...just not my address book. Thanks!

NaeNae's Notes
Sorry for the lack of posting. I've been busy with another project called motherhood + a full-time job. I've had trouble scheduling any time in for myself. Don't worry though - I've been taking notes...
* K-Bugg went roller skating for the very first time. She was invited to a birthday party at the local skating rink, and loved every minute of it! Ella also went skating. We had a great time! (Sorry for the horrible picture. My new camera stinks!)
* Ella has decided that clothes are overrated. It is nearly impossible to get her dressed these days. And when you
do get clothes on her? She takes them off!
* Both of the girls have been sick this week. First, Ella picked up some kind of throat infection - then passed it on to K-Bugg. It has been a lot of fun with fevers, runny noses and coughing!
* K-Bugg and I were invited to go on a "Girls Only" skiing trip, but did not get to go because of the sickness in my house.
* We are supposed to get around 5 inches of snow tomorrow. I can't wait to build a snowman!

It's Official...
I must be getting old, or something! Turning 35 on Thursday, has nothing to do with it! I actually sat down and
chose to watch the Presidential Debates last night! I even had three DVDs waiting on me - and I
still picked the debates! The way I see it, I'm not really getting old. I'm just feeling more responsible this election, and want to make a good choice when I vote in November.

Twilight Series
Over Christmas break, I picked up the book, "Twilight" by Stephenie Meyer. While browsing through blogs, I stumbled across one where this book was highly recommended as a "page turner." I can assure you, this is a true description of the book. Not only did I finish this book in record time - but I also purchased the next two books in the series, "New Moon" and "Eclipse," and finished those in under a week! So if you're looking for something to read, and you enjoy fiction/romance/fantasy/thrillers (Oh, and vampires!), then I highly recommend this series. The next book in the series isn't scheduled to come out until the fall of 2008. I am patiently waiting. Until then, I am looking for another book that will keep me equally captivated...Any suggestions?
