It's Official!
My sister found out today that she's having a boy. She called to share the news - but to also let me know it was okay to use the name "Ella" for our new baby (see the "What's in a name?" post for more details). So...it's official. Our new daughter's name will be Ella Ruby (named after our grandmothers). I'm so excited for my sister! I can't wait to see her become a mother. Well, I firmly believe that things work out for a reason. I'm not sure that I would have taken the name Ella if it was a girl...after all a promise is a promise! Thanks for the vote of encouragement on our upcoming moments of parenthood! I am pretty sure that we will need all the encouragement we can get!

I LOVE the name Ruby. It was one of the ones I picked out in case we had a girl. Glad you get to use Ella too.
