Summer Officially Ends...
Today is the last day of my Summer vacation. I go back to work tomorrow, dragging my feet. I do not look forward to this for several reasons:- Summer is over (for me, anyway)
- Waking up early (I'm not a morning person)
- I will miss quality time with my girls
- Leisure time is shortened to the weekends
- Limited time in the pool (No, it's not finished yet - but we have been swimming in it anyway! It still sits as it did weeks ago. This time, we're waiting on concrete work to be completed.)
- I woke up with a swollen eye this morning. It's not pink eye. The skin on my eyelid feels itchy and irritated. I washed my face with antibacterial soap yesterday. I have been battling eczema for a year now. Over the winter, I got it on the same eyelid. I think the soap must have flared it up again.

Sorry summer is over for you. I know it will be nice to have a routine again after a couple of weeks of getting up early. - or maybe not - Just think - I am sure you feel a lot better about going back to school compared to last year at this time! :)
