Going to the Fair
The annual county fair was in town this week. K-Bugg spotted it one day this week, while going to MawMaw Billie's house. She came home telling us how "fantastic" the fair looked, and how much she wanted to go. Last night, we took K-Bugg for the first time. She loved every minute of it! All the way to the fair, she kept telling us, "I'm so bexcited!" (That's how she says the word, excited.)
We pretty much let her lead the way once inside the fair. Of course, the first thing she noticed was all of the prizes to be won. She wanted every stuffed animal she saw along the way. She won three small unicorn stuffed animals at the kids' "duck" and "fishing" games (the game where everyone wins). MawMaw Billie won a big white cat for her, and Kevin won a big green dog at another game. Needless to say, she was very "bexcited!"
K-Bugg loved the rides! Kevin rode most of them with her. I was surprised at how willing she was to get on some of them. Her favorite was the "Orient Express." It was a dragon roller coaster (which I thought went too fast for small children) - but she loved it! She rode that one over and over again. She also loved the pony ride. This was a ride on real ponies. (I felt sorry for those poor ponies. They looked like they had been going all day!) Poor Mommy (NaeNae), MawMaw and Ella didn't get to go on any fair rides. The only ride Ella got, was a bumpy ride in the stroller. She didn't seem to mind much. She ended up falling asleep.
