Visiting the Pumpkin Patch

My sister and I took the babies to a local pumpkin patch to take Fall photos today. It was a beautiful day, but very windy! Kelly sent one of the photos to me via email, so I thought I'd share it with you. More to come later...

And We have Lift Off...

SOMEONE is starting to crawl! She's not quite proficient yet, but she's off to a great start! My baby is growing up too fast!

One Year!

For whatever reason, I'm having trouble finding the time to blog these days. A number of things have contributed to this, such as:

1. Maternity leave is over and I am working full time again.
2. I have a 6 month old and a 4 year old.
3. I had to pack up and move to a new classroom in one week.
4. I'm too busy reading YOUR blogs, trying to keep up in my spare time (even though I don't always leave a comment).
5. My weekends have been very busy.
6. I'm exhausted! Can you believe I actually fell asleep during my favorite show, "Lost" on Wednesday night?!

So as you can tell, this has turned into making excuses for myself (for my lack of blogging lately). Here is what I really wanted to say...I have officially been blogging for ONE YEAR!

PS - Ella started saying, "Da Da" on Wednesday! She is also saying, "Na Na." Even though I'm waiting for her to say, "Ma Ma" - I'll take, "Na Na" since it sort of sounds like Nae Nae!

Ella is 6 Months!

Can you believe Ella is 6 months old? She is growing up so fast! I don't remember the time going by so quickly with K-Bugg. Knowing this will be our last baby, I try to treasure every passing moment and milestone. For some crazy reason, Kevin keeps throwing out comments about having "the next one" (referring to having a boy). Not happening!

Ella has been very busy this month. She finally cut two bottom teeth last weekend. She is doing pretty well with sitting up on her own - but is still a little wobbily! She is able to get up on her knees and elbows, but has not figured out the crawling thing yet. However, she is scooting and rolling all over the floor these days. I can't keep her in one area anymore. She makes me so happy when I come home from work in the afternoons. She gets very excited to see us, with her bounces and squeals. Her eyes light up like Christmas. I can honsetly say she is truly a gift from God - just as Kellynn is too. I love those girls so much! Life just wouldn't be the same without them.

Ella's looks are always changing. Who do you think she looks like now?

I am a mother, wife and full-time teacher, with a very sassy little girl (daughter 1) on my hands and another one following in her footsteps (daughter 2). And I wonder where the gray hairs are coming from?
