Down on the Farm
Whew! Today was a fun day at school...but I'm tired. I took my first graders to a Pumpkin Patch. We stuffed scarecrows, went on a hayride around the farm, fed farm animals and picked pumpkins. The students I work with, would be considered "under priviledged." I love taking them to new places. For most of them, this was their first trip to a REAL farm.
